ABOUT
Robin Boyden is an illustrator who works on a freelance basis in Wiltshire, England. He finished his studies at University College Falmouth in 2007, receiving a first-class degree, and later obtained a Master's degree in Art and Design.
Robin focuses on creating illustrations for picture books and fiction aimed at middle-grade readers. His most recent titles include Leah Williamson’s debut middle grade book ‘The Wonder Team and the Forgotten Footballers’ and Sam Copeland and Jenny Pearson’s ‘Attack of the Robot Librarians’.
He also works as an editorial illustrator, with clients including Wired UK, Saga, and BBC Focus.
Robin's artwork has been featured in the AOI Images annual publication twice, and he has collaborated with various clients in the publishing and editorial industries around the world.
His first book as both an author and illustrator, titled 'Gerald Needs A Friend,' was released in April 2021 through Francis Lincoln. He has also written and illustrated ‘Georgia and the Edge of the World’ a graphic novel published by David Fickling Books.
